A to B and in between was the Highbury Oracle Project's first ever showing of work.
Between March and July 2010, 30 young people aged 9-12 worked with the director Anne Tipton, the director Abdul Shayek and two members of Work in Progress, Ehireme Omoaka and Shekeira Martin. Supported by Oracle Project Co-ordinator Carol Sidney, they worked together to create a new piece of theatre about the areas they live in and how safe they feel there.
Alongside the project, the workshop team visited the six primary schools who nominated the Oracle participants and
leading research workshops with over 200 year 5 students. Their findings fed directly into the showing and into a final report for Cambridge Education @ Islington, who originally commissioned the project.
