Comfort
by Hattie Naylor and the company
A Rosemary Branch Theatre and Islington Community Theatre Co-production
17 - 20 July 2012
Following the success of Fifteen last summer, ICT returns to the beloved Rosemary Branch Theatre with a new project uniting some of Islington's best young theatre-makers with the playwright Hattie Naylor (Ivan and the Dogs, Going Dark).
Comfort will be created in a two week long devising process exploring how the objects we collect in our lives shape who we are, how we interact with our families and what our future holds.
The play will be devised and created in just two weeks by winners of the second annual Young Theatre Innovator Awards, for young people aged 16 nominated by their schools as imaginative, collaborative young theatre-makers with real potential to make their own work in the future.
