Friday, October 12, 2012 at 1:41PM Speakeasy starts
Our Speakeasy company return tonight, with a large number of new members and a brief to write for a number of projects throughout the rest of this year and into next.
Speakeasy is a 20-strong collective of young writers who gather every Friday to develop their imaginations, skills and style with the writers and directors Brian Mullin and Guy Jones. Last year the group produced work for the 100 word plays, which we published online and the Word 2012 festival.
Supported by Islington Giving, the company is stronger than ever this year. We'll be producing their work in readings and showings just before Christmas, in March and throughout the Word 2013 festival.
