Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 9:59PM Survive kicks off
Today was the first day of the What Will Survive of Us project, bringing together five wonderful playwrights, five exciting emerging directors and around 30 of our young theatre-makers.
Alice Birch, Dawn King, Inua Ellams, Ben Ellis and Janice Okoh came to take part in a day-long workshop with the young people - their second point of contact with us after all of them took part in Speakeasy sessions earlier this month.
The idea of the workshop was to set up in-depth conversations about where we have come from and what our future holds for us, which the writers will then use to develop short plays for us to perform in July.
Ned has blogged about the day and we'll post updates as the project progresses.
