Word Festival starts

The Islington Word 2012 Festival starts tomorrow and ICT is in the thick of the action.

Word is a festival of all things written and read, of voice and freedom of expression.

Every day throughout the festival we're publishing a differen 100 word play on our website.  Each play, written by young people aged 12-21, has been written as part of Speakeasy, our collective of young playwrights and inspired by the Royal Court's 100 Word Play challenge as part of their young writers festival.

We're also organising a bizarre happening on Saturday in Highbury Fields and a wonderful hide and seek game of plays in and around Central Library.

Keep your eye on the website and twitter for more information.
