Wordsearch success

Our final contribution to the Word 2012 Festival went off superbly on Saturday, with twenty young people performing short scenes hidden around Central Library.  Each scene was written by members of our collective of young playwrights, Speakeasy.

Created by Brian Mullin and Guy Jones, with Ola Ince and Lucy Deere, Wordsearch invited its audience to explore the library and seek out the plays, hidden amongst tables and shelves, in nooks and crannies and hidden areas that normal library users never normally see.

During the Word Festival we've published 21 plays by young writers online, organised a ridiculous and rather beautiful flash-mob of young readers, as well as the Wordsearch event on Saturday.
