Nobita

This is Nobita.  Nobita is an inch high and was the treasured posession of Andreia, one of the performer/devisers in Comfort, a new play we're making with Hattie Naylor at the Rosemary Branch Theatre.

When Andreia's mum left Portugal to come to London six years ago, Andreia gave Nobita to her mum so that she wouldn't forget her.  And she's had him ever since, a reminder of the six months they spent apart while Andreia's mum went in search of a better life.

It's one of the deeply personal stories connected with the objects that define our life that make up Comfort, which opens next week.
