We're delighted to welcome two new staff members to ICT this week.
Carolina Ortega has joined us as the interim General Manager, covering Kirsten Burrow's maternity leave: Kirsten will be leaving us next week to have her first child, the third ICT baby (and the third girl) after Anne Tipton's daughter Maggie and Charlie Damigos' new baby girl Olive.
Carolina is a Venezuelan born, London based theatre-maker who has recently worked with the Bush Theatre as a producer, CASA Latin American Theatre festival and Tangram Theatre Company (as programmer and general manager) and on several freelance projects in Holland and Spain. She has also worked as a workshop leader and loves working with young people, which is why she is thrilled to be part of ICT.
Working closely with Carolina will be Innie Fryer, who has previously worked with us as a volunteer assistant producer. Innie will be taking on a new role as our first ever Young Associates Assistant, administrating and supporting four new young people aged 18-21 who'll be joining us two days a week to train, learn and develop as theatre-makers
