Speakeasy starts tomorrow

Our brand new playwriting collective, Speakeasy, starts this Friday.

Over the last two weeks, the Speakeasy Director Brian Mullin, co-ordinator Guy Jones and project assistants Tosin Badmus, Heaven Yemane, Daniel Rickler and Roman Dawson have been out working with different groups of young people, hunting for people to join Speakeasy.

They've had a really exciting response from young people at City and Islington College, Highbury Roundhouse, Islington Young Carers and many other places.  And they can't wait to get started on the regular sessions tomorrow.

If you're interested in taking part, contact the Speakeasy team.

A brand new play

We're delighted to announce a new play that we've made from scratch with 30 young people aged 12-16.

In All the Minutes Ever  tells the story of three young people caught up in time.  It opens in two weeks at Platform, the new youth arts venue in Islington.

Find out about the show, tickets and dates here.

And read Ned's latest blog about the process behind it here.

Secret Millionaire back on 4od

Our episode of The Secret Millionaire is back on 4od having appeared unexpectedly on More4 last week.

If you missed it the first time round, you can watch the show here (click on 'Lyn Cecil').

The money that Lyn gave us in October 2010 has now all been allocated and spent and we are desperately searching for new donations to support our work.

If you would like to support us, you can donate quickly and easily online, or contact us.
