ORACLE PERFORMANCE @ PLATFORM - SATURDAY 17 MARCH

Hello Everyone!

It’s Ola, the IAMS Oracle Project Director.

Big congratulations to each and every one of you for performing so beautifully on Saturday.

Thank you for waking up so bright and early to rehearse at the Platform, you were full of lots of positive energy and excitement, which you channelled into your performance.

You all knew your lines perfectly and were very patient with all of the room changes and schedule changes.

Our scientists were witty, confident and clear, so well done Jordanne and Kayne!

Charlotte and the hungry bellies did extremely well adapting to the new space and the changes in their scene!! High five girls!

All of the students, Tom and Tom’s Teacher did an absolutely amazing job getting their scene together in so little time!!

And last but not least Lisa, who was OUTSTANDINGLY helpful and a great Stage Manager.

Hi everybody,

I’m Phoebe, I’m seventeen years old and I’ve been assisting Dvora with the Oracle Project.

There was a buzz in the air as everyone arrived for the early start at the Platform on Saturday. The girls had been really thoughtful picking out their costumes and props, especially Kristin who had put so much effort into looking the part of the dad with a tie, hat and coat. Also, a big thanks to Aleyna who had brought in a toy baby for us to use! The girls got to see the space they’d be performing in and meet with the other Oracle Project from IAMs who all seemed lovely and energetic.

Unfortunately Dvora couldn’t be with us on Saturday morning but Ned was there to help and we added the finishing touches to the piece. We then did a technical rehearsal which was exciting! We added music, lighting and some special effects. The girls also learnt to really turn up the volume when on stage so that they’d be heard.

It all got a bit scary when the parents started to arrive but they gave a great performance. Tina, Dvora and I are really proud of all of them! Well Done!
