Remarkable Things is an extraordinary new piece of dance theatre created and performed by a company of performers aged between 10 and 87 years old, many of whom have never danced on stage before.

Created especially to mark the re-opening of Islington Assembly Hall, Remarkable Things is about the tiny little things that make us who we are: an exploration through movement and storytelling of memory, time and the power of seemingly insignificant events to change our lives.

Over ten weekly workshops, members of ICT's three young companies have created Remarkable Things with senior citizens from Age Concern Islington, led by the choreographer Ben Ash and ICT's Artistic Director Ned Glasier.  Their ideas and interactions in this process have inspired the many tiny moments that make up the play.  Like the Assembly Hall itself, Remarkable Things is a unique celebration of what happens when we bridge the gap between old and new.
