Current & Future Productions

Following an incredibly hectic summer period in which we produced four different shows at three different venues with more than 130 performers, we're currently planning and developing our next shows.

Work in development includes two new productions, as well as our second 'Beginnings' new writing project, a chilly winter showcase and three experimental collaborations with some of the UK's most exciting young companies.

We'll be posting information about all of these projects, and more, here soon.

In the meantime, you might want to check out our past productions or our production gallery.

THE PACT
In development

The Pact has been one of IYT’s most challenging, exciting and, at times, difficult projects.

Since early 2010, we've been exploring the incredible story of an alleged American high school pregnancy pact and trying to find a way to transpose it to life in a London school.  Progress has been at times really exciting, at others slow and frustrating.  We all agree it’s a wonderful, captivating story, but it’s also full of pitfalls and we’re still working hard on how best to fully do justice to it.

For the first six months of development, the IYT company worked with the writer Tanya Ronder to develop the overall plotlines, characters and structure.  We performed a work in development showing as part of the Tangled festival in July 2010.

Following this, we've decided to give ourselves a break to reflect on the development of The Pact while we start to generate new projects and productions.

We hope to return to work on The Pact at some point in 2011.
